Truth: That’s a hard hell no! You can make money now with your information product with a proven model AND there is a stronger case to be made for evergreen product creation.
Information products should offer freedom not headaches, right? If you had to keep creating products and orchestrating huge launches, what is the point? That’s more of a headache than its worth… you stay in the rat race. Create a product, spend tons of money, get affiliates, launch it, then 2 weeks later, what? Sales are dead and now you are looking toward your next launch? For someone like me, a single mom with 4 under 8, this is just NOT an option. Yep, been there… I hosted my first challenge back in 2011 with amazing turn out, just based on how I approached everything else… Just go and figure it out. LOL The part that sucked though, was I didn’t monetize it, despite the fact I had people reaching out to work with me, because I thought I had to do all the other crap before I could… I mean seriously?
I walked away from an least 5 figures all because hosting and monetizing a challenge wasn’t on my list!!! That’s right, I didn’t even attempt to make a dime from it.
It literally disgusts me now because I could have totally built my platform them WHILE making money if I had stopped listening to morons, just because they said I should listen to them. When in fact, I had been a business owner for years, hell all my life!
See, I was trying to do ALL that stuff, literally, everything thing on the “build and online business list”, while raising 3 small kids in a foreign country, attempting to be in relationship with a physical and emotionally abusive man. My gosh!!!
